Rain in tokai forest

It rained and rained and we fianlly went out to find the river had over-floated and was running down the path. We had tried the same excursion 24 hours earlier but had to run back for cover as we were drenched.

Fun in Noordhoek

Mum went to Hermanus for a Girls (and some babies) weekend. That left the three older boys to have some fun. Enjoyed the wonderful weather before it starts raining again. Water was very warm. Unfortunately the tide eventually came in and almost demolished the castle before Alick jumped on top of it.

Betty's Bay

On the weekend of 12 May, we went to Betty's bay to stay at Kerry's house for the night. We had fantastic weather while there - the last of the season?

Spent an hour or two sitting on a wall of seaweed and waiting for the incoming tide to push them over.










Benedict was not so sure that that game was so much fun.

Walk in the Forest

Another walk in the forest on a sunday afternoon. We went to the Newlands forest station to see a talk on firefighting and rolling hoses. Unfortunately the helicopters were gone for the winter already.
After a brief picnic we went for a little walk.
