Betty's Bay

On the weekend of 12 May, we went to Betty's bay to stay at Kerry's house for the night. We had fantastic weather while there - the last of the season?

A Walk down to the beach and they both want to hold Kessi.














Spent an hour or two sitting on a wall of seaweed and waiting for the incoming tide to push them over.










Benedict was not so sure that that game was so much fun.

Walk in the Forest

Another walk in the forest on a sunday afternoon. We went to the Newlands forest station to see a talk on firefighting and rolling hoses. Unfortunately the helicopters were gone for the winter already.
After a brief picnic we went for a little walk.

Birthday party

Went to Holly's first birthday party on 1 May at Suikerbossie. Here are somepictures of the cake and some unnamed children...

Sunday School Fun

All the kids lined up waiting for me to lead them on a bicycle ride around the park. There was quite a group. Some had to be helped around. It all ended up with a picnic in the park and Tony organised some games

Canilou Comes home

It was Alick's turn to bring home Canilou. It is his class mascot. Here he's having his first dinner.
We had to show where we went with him. Here we are having a picnic on the front lawn.
Off to church...
Last night before he needs to go back to school for the next person.

Easter Sunday

The whole family (without Kessi) went to our traditional easter sunday outing at Betty's bay with the "gang".

Bunny (Karen) painted Daniels face for the occasion but it soon got washed out in the very cold water.





Benedict didn't need any face painting. He had chicken pox. Well, we think it's chicken pox...
